Do you have hope? Or should I ask…..do you STILL have hope?
Maybe your situation at this very moment seems to be one where there is no hope. Maybe you are saying or thinking or even feeling one of the following:
“There is nothing to live for.”
“I have no hope.”
“I would rather not be alive.”
“I can’t face the future.”
“What is the use?”
What you need to do right now is to never give up and to NOT lose hope. As long as you can still have hope, there is something to live for.
What is hope?
Hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen. However, some people understand hope as wishful thinking, as in….”I hope something will happen.”
Hope, according to the Bible, is a confident expectation.
It is a firm assurance regarding things that are unclear and unknown.
No one can say what tomorrow will bring, or even the rest of today. Yet we must keep on to have hope, to strive for something better. Hope is an optimistic attitude of mind, based on an expectation of positive outcomes related to events and circumstances in one’s life.
It means to expect with confidence. To cherish a desire with anticipation.
Hope is the fuel of happiness. Therefore you can be happy even if things are not going so well, as long as you have hope that they will.
Hope has the ability to help people heal.
People who possess hope and think optimistically have a greater sense of well-being. Hope is that little thing in your heart that says to you…..”Hey, you should go on.”
Stand up from the fall, dust yourself, and go forward…
Hope is a motivation to keep going. Hope is a feeling that ALL is NOT LOST, that you can find a way out of whatever is bringing you down.
Hope is possibilities.
Hope is what you have when you feel you have nothing left.
Without hope, there isn’t change. Without change, there isn’t hope.
Hope gives us something to look forward to.
Elbert Hubbard said, “A little more persistence, a little more effort, and what seemed hopeless failure may turn to glorious success.”
Quoting Robert Schuller, “Let your hopes, not your hurts, shape your future.”
I want you to keep having hope. Never ever give up to have hope.
I quote from John Green, “We need never be hopeless because we can never be irreparably broken.”
Keep your hope alive…..keep your hopes up.
